Description

Beef stew is a hearty and comforting meal that is beloved for its rich flavours and tender texture. This classic dish typically features chunks of beef slow-cooked with vegetables in a savoury broth, creating a warm and satisfying meal perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients
  • 500 g Beef steaks
  • 500 g potato (peeled, cubbed)
  • 1 onion (peeled, chopped)
  • 1 carrot (peeled, sliced into halfmoons)
  • 5 garlic cloves (peeled, minced)
  • 1 Chilli pepper (deseeded, minced)
  • 1 Bell pepper (deseeded, cliced)
  • 200 g frozen peas
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
  1. Preheat the pot with olive oil.

  2. Add beef and cook for 5 minutes, season with salt and pepper, stirring occasionally.

  3. Remove beef from the pot and set aside on the plate.

    Then add onions, carrot, garlic, bell pepper and cook for about 5-7 minutes.

  4. Then return beef, add paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste, cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Next add potato, bay leaf and water to cover the veggies and meat. Cook for 40-45 minutes.

  6. When ready serve with a dollop of sour cream and parsley.
