Chicken Fillet with Goat Cheese and Basil

This is the easiest meal for lunch or dinner and it is delicious. Goat's cheese and basil make an amazing flavour combination.

Description

This recipe is great for a low carb diet or keto. Goat's cheese melts while cooking and the basil adds flavour, so I'm sure, you'll love it.

Ingredients
  • 200 g chicken breast fillet
  • 50 g goat's cheese (sliced)
  • few basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
  1. Slit chicken fillet lengthwise.

  2. Season it with salt and pepper on both sides.

  3. Put cheese and basil inside and secure with toothpicks.

  4. Fry on medium heat for 10 minutes on one side, flip it and fry on another side for 5 more minutes until cooked through. Check the juices, must run clear.

  5. Serve it warm with salad.

In this recipe I used fresh basil, but use dry basil, if you have on hand.
