Description

For those, who like dishes with chicken liver, this meal will be an amazing idea. Here chicken liver is cooked in a creamy sauce with mustard, which makes it incredibly tender and buttery.

Ingredients
  • 500 g chicken liver (films removed)
  • 4 tbsp soured cream
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 white onion (thinly sliced)
  • 50 ml warm water
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 l hot water (to soak the liver)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
  1. First, soak prepared chicken liver in a bowl with hot water for 15 minutes.

  2. Then fry the onion for 3 minutes on the pan with oil on medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  3. Drain the chicken liver and add to the pan with onion, cook for 15 minutes, covered with a lid.

  4. Then mix soured cream, and mustard and add to the pan, cook for another 10 minutes.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
