Description

When there is fig season this dessert is great to enjoy any time. It is ready in 10 minutes and involves only a few ingredients. Best served warm with a dollop of vanilla ice cream on the side. Such a perfect combination!

Ingredients
  • 12 figs
  • 6 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 50 g roasted hazelnuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C.

  2. Cut the figs into quarters, but not to the end.

  3. Place figs into the baking dish and open the cuts a bit.

  4. Drizzle honey on top of the figs and add crushed hazelnuts into the centre of each fig.

  5. Bake figs for 10 minutes.

  6. Serve immediately with a dollop of ice cream and enjoy.
