Description

Nisoise salad is a perfect balance of flavours and textures. The freshness of crisp greens and vegetables, the richness of tuna, eggs, and olive oil, and the tangy brightness of the vinaigrette harmonize every element.

Ingredients
  • 100 g canned tune in water (drained)
  • 100 g baby potatoes (halved)
  • 100 g green beans
  • 50 g lettuce (chopped)
  • 1/4 red onion (finelly chopped)
  • handful of dill (chopped finelly)
  • 1 tbsp capers in brine (drained)
  • 1 egg
  • For the dressing:
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp wholgrain mustard
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
  1. Cook the egg for 6-7 minutes for soft-boiled eggs.

  2. Cook the potatoes in salted water for 15 minutes.

  3. Cook the green beans in salted water for 7-8 minutes.

  4. In a small bowl mix all the ingredients for the dressing until well combined.

  5. Drain the vegetables and let them cool down a bit.

  6. Add lettuce, tuna, potatoes, green beans, red onion, and egg in a bowl, and top with the dressing and dill. Gently mix and enjoy!
