Description

This is the perfect high-protein and low-carb meal. I like to serve it with some buttered green beans and garlic and chives mayo. And this is divine!

  • 2 sirloin steaks (about 300 g, room temperature)
  • 30 g butter (for steaks)
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • For caramelized onions:
  • 2 large white onions (halved and sliced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • For green beans:

Instructions
  1. Preheat the pan with olive oil on medium heat. Add onions and fry them for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  2. Meanwhile, mix all the ingredients for garlic mayo.

  3. Then boil green beans in salted water for 5-7 minutes. Next, drain green beans add butter, and gently stir.

  4. Add sugar, balsamic vinegar and salt to the onions cook for 1 more minute and turn off.

  5. Next season steaks with salt and pepper and spread butter on both sides.

  6. Preheat the pan to medium-high heat. Cook steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side, to your liking.
