Description

An amazing tomato sauce with some bacon served with spaghetti is always a great meal idea.

Ingredients
  • 100 g spaghetti
  • 100 g bacon (chopped)
  • 150 g tomatoes (finelly chopped)
  • 1 white onion (finelly chopped)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 small chilli pepper (deseeded, minced)
  • 1 tbsp tomato passata
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the pan to medium heat and fry bacon until crispy.

  2. Remove bacon from the pan and set aside.

  3. On a pan with olive oil on medium heat cook onion, garlic and chilli for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Then add tomatoes, and tomato passata and cook for another 10-15 minutes until soft.

  5. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to the instructions.

  6. When tomatoes are soft, add bacon and parmesan to the pan season with salt and pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  7. When the spaghetties are ready add the to the pan with sauce and gently stir.

  8. Then serve with some fresh basil and enjoy!
