Turkey and Bacon Salad

This salad is filling and delicious. Bacon, turkey, mozzarella and crunchy lettuce leaves are a great combination for the dinner.

Description

I like this salad, as it is super easy and quick, suitable for busy weeknights. Just fry turkey, mushrooms, bacon and then mix with salad and dressing and all done.

Ingredients
  • 100 g turkey steak (sliced)
  • 50 g chestnut mushrooms (sliced)
  • 50 g bacon (sliced)
  • 100 g salad leaves
  • 30 g mozzarella (torn to bite size pieces)
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oil in the pan and fry chicken for 3-4 minutes on medium heat, stirring often, season to taste with salt and pepper.

  2. Remove the chicken from the pan.

  3. Then fry mushrooms for 3-4 minutes until soft, stirring often, and season with salt and pepper.

  4. Remove mushrooms from the pan.

  5. Fry bacon until crisp for about 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly. Then remove from the pan.

  6. Mix the ingredients for dressing in the small jar, and shake well until emulsified.

  7. Mix salad leaves and all the cooked ingredients in the bowl. Pour the dressing over and gently mix it.

  8. Then plate and add mozzarella on top and enjoy.
