Description

This meal's great combination of flavours makes lunch or dinner more fun and enjoyable. A simple salad and salsa add a nice punch of flavour too. The best thing is that this is ready in under 30 minutes and it is low on carbs.

Ingredients
  • 300 g turkey fillets (sliced into strips)
  • 1 orange (juiced)
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • 1 chilli pepper (minced)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • For avocado salsa:
  • 1 large ripe avocado (cubed)
  • 1 tomato (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 red onion (finelly chopped)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • For rocket salad:
  • 100 g rocket (rinsed and drained)
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the grill.

  2. Mix all the ingredients for the marinade. And pour it on the turkey fillet. Marinate for 20 minutes in the fridge.

  3. After that time thread the fillet on the skewers. Grill it for 10 minutes, turning halfway.

  4. Meanwhile, mix all the ingredients for salsa and rocket salad.

  5. Let meat rest for 5 minutes after cooking time.

  6. And then serve it.
