Turkey Stroganoff

This hearty and delicious meal is a family favourite. Serve it with pasta or mashed potatoes, or rice and it is a complete meal.

Description

For this recipe, I like to use the mushroom mix as it adds different flavours and textures. But feel free to use regular available mushrooms and it will be delicious. Only a few simple ingredients and all done.

Ingredients
  • 200 g turkey (sliced into strips)
  • 200 g mushroom mix (sliced)
  • 300 ml single cream
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
  1. Fry turkey in the pan with olive oil on medium heat for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until no more pink. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. Remove the turkey from the pan.

  3. Fry mushrooms for 4-5 minutes, until soft, season with salt and pepper.

  4. Return chicken, and add single cream. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Simmer for 2-3 minutes on low heat.

  6. Enjoy!
