  1. Then add lentils and water to cover the lentils by 2 cm. Cook for 15 minutes.

  1. Meanwhile, cook the rice in salted water according to the packaging instructions.

  1. Next, add the spinach and adjust the seasoning and cook for 5 more minutes.

  1. When all ready, serve the dahl over the rice and enjoy with some bread on the side.
