Sea Bass with Quinoa and Salsa
Description
The star of the plate is the sea bass—a fish known for its mild, slightly sweet flavour and firm yet flaky texture. Lightly seasoned with salt, and pepper, the fillet is pan-fried until the skin is crispy and golden, while the flesh remains tender and juicy.
The frying process brings out a beautiful contrast between the crispy, flavorful crust and the soft, buttery interior of the fish. A squeeze of fresh lemon over the top adds a bright, citrusy finish that enhances the natural sweetness of the sea bass.
Serving as the base of the dish, quinoa offers a light, fluffy texture with a subtle nutty undertone. It complements the rich fish without overpowering it, while adding a hearty, satisfying element.
The mushrooms and asparagus add a layer of earthy richness and fresh, green vibrancy to the dish.
This salsa provides a cool, zesty contrast to the warm, savoury elements of the dish, balancing richness with vibrant acidity.
