Sirloin Beef Steaks with Cheddar and Caramelised Onions
Description
This is the perfect high-protein and low-carb meal. I like to serve it with some buttered green beans and garlic and chives mayo. And this is divine!
Ingredients
For caramelized onions:

Preheat the pan with olive oil on medium heat. Add onions and fry them for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, mix all the ingredients for garlic mayo.

Then boil green beans in salted water for 5-7 minutes. Next, drain green beans add butter, and gently stir.

Add sugar, balsamic vinegar and salt to the onions cook for 1 more minute and turn off.

Next season steaks with salt and pepper and spread butter on both sides.

Preheat the pan to medium-high heat. Cook steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side, to your liking.

Then put a generous amount of caramelised onions on each steak and top with a slice of cheddar cheese. Cover with a lid for 1-2 minutes on low heat and let the cheese melt.
