Description

Turkey minced meat cooks quickly so it is great for quick high-protein recipes. I like to use canned arrabiata chopped tomatoes in this recipe because they have a slight chilli kick. And for more vegetables, I use onion, carrot, and celery finely chopped in a food processor, to make process quicker.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In the food processor chop the onion, carrot, garlic, and celery for about 30 seconds.

  2. Add the vegetables to the preheated pan with oil and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  3. Next, add turkey mince and cook it for 5 minutes until no longer pink.

  4. Then add chopped tomatoes, tomato passata and season with salt and pepper and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Meanwhile cook pasta in boiling salted water, according to the package instructions.

  6. When ready, serve pasta with turkey ragu on top, grate some cheese and enjoy.
